The Suit

How does the float actually work?
Foam inserts sit in sewn-in pockets distributed across the torso. They lift the child evenly so they stay upright and level — the position they'll swim in — rather than tipping forward the way arm bands do.

Are the inserts removable?
Yes, and that's the point. Start with all of them in for a brand-new swimmer. Pull a few out as they get stronger. Take them all out and it's simply a good UPF swimsuit. One suit covers the whole learning arc.

Is this a life jacket?
No. FloatPals is a swim confidence aid, not a life-saving device, and it is not Coast Guard approved. An adult must always stay within arm's reach. Please read our Water Safety Promise.

What's the sun protection?
UPF-rated rash-guard fabric covering the torso and arms. Still use sunscreen on exposed skin — face, hands, feet, and neck.

Will it hold up in chlorine and salt water?
Yes. Rinse in cool water after every swim and hang to dry.

Sizing

What sizes do you make?
12–18 months, 2–3 years, 3–4 years, and 5–6 years.

My child is between sizes.
Size up. The suit should be snug but never tight. A loose float suit rides up in the water and shifts the buoyancy off-center.

Which colors are there?
Five: Blue (shark), Orange (dinosaur), Pink (sea creature), Navy (whale and anchor), and Yellow (dinosaur).

Care

How do I wash it?
Take the foam inserts out first. Rinse the suit in cool water, hang to dry. No machine drying and no bleach — heat and chlorine bleach both destroy swim fabric.

When should I replace it?
When the foam feels compressed, crumbly, or stays waterlogged, or when the suit no longer fits snugly.

What does shipping cost?
Nothing. Free shipping on every order, no minimum.

How long until it arrives?
1–2 business days to process, then typically 7–12 business days in transit.

Can I change or cancel my order?
Email us within 24 hours of ordering and we'll do our best. Once it ships we can't stop it, but you can still return it.

What if it doesn't fit?
